Pancake breakfast will be served from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm. Maple Weekend will also feature maple science demonstrations and a maple sugar tour covering the history of maple sugaring led by Maple Sugar experts and our oxen, Jack and Flynn. This tour features hands-on, interactive stops such as a 19th century sugar arch, a tree tapping station, maple cooking demonstrations in Elliott House, tasty maple sugar on snow treats, and more. The day will also feature live music provided by The Brothers Blue, KTB’s Bucking Pig BBQ for purchase, and maple beer for purchase. Museum, Farmstead (don’t forget to visit our chickens, sheep, ram, and oxen), and Historic Village will be open with demonstrations by costumed interpreters, the Brewers Guild, the Woodwrights Guild, the Blacksmiths Guild, and the Weavers Guild. Local NYS maple products will be available for sale.
